I have a great resource for you today. I’m recommending a blog that covers a very wide range of topics not only on design, but on creativity in general. The blog author has many years of experience in art, design, music and a fairly new (or perhaps very old — ) area of study called “Whole Systems Design”; boiled down more or less to — the big picture and how to get it to work.

He offers an approchable style of instruction and art directorship that few freelancers have an opportunity to experience on a continual basis. (continue reading…)

Meditation And Creativity

Why Meditate
Many authors have recommended that artists incorporate some form of meditation as part of their creative process. Meditation has often been associated with an increase in creativity. Welcome

by mmdpStudio Artist on Sep.12, 2009, under Psychology of Art

VAJPlaceholder_118x150Welcome to my new blog. I’ll be posting journal entries about a wide variety of art related topics as they come up in my day-to-day activities and discussions with other artists.

My first topic will be about the struggle to do unique artwork after millennias of human expression.

In the meantime I will be adding links and short bits about resources, etc.
